I am a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. I bring over a decade of experience supporting children, youth, adults, and families across schools, non-profit organizations, sports teams, and private practice.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in narrative and attachment perspectives. Narrative therapy helps us explore the stories we carry about ourselves and imagine new possibilities for the chapters ahead, while attachment work recognizes how our relationships shape so many of our experiences. I believe therapy is collaborative and my clients are the experts in their own lives, and my role is to walk alongside them in their journey. When working with children, I often incorporate play-based approaches to support emotional expression, resilience, and growth in ways that feel natural and engaging.
I have extensive experience supporting individuals impacted by trauma and I approach this work with sensitivity, patience, and a strong focus on creating a safe space for healing. I also specialize in working with neurodiverse individuals and their families, recognizing both the challenges and the unique strengths that come with different ways of thinking and learning. In addition, I have a strong interest in psychology in athletic performance. I enjoy helping athletes and teams build resilience, confidence, focus, and balance both on and off the field.
Over the years, a significant part of my work has involved supporting Indigenous children, youth, adults, and families. As a non-Indigenous psychologist, I value approaching this work with respect, openness, and a willingness to continue learning from the individuals, families, and communities I work alongside. I am able to provide services through the Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) program and for individuals recovering from motor vehicle accidents (MVA), when applicable.
In addition to therapy, I provide assessments for children and youth (ages 6–18), with a special focus on psychoeducational and ADHD assessments. My background working with high-risk youth and neurodiverse individuals has shaped my passion for helping families gain clarity and support through the assessment process. I work closely with clients and their circle of care to ensure the process feels comprehensive and collaborative.
I became a therapist because, even in the face of hardship and pain, I have seen people draw on their strengths to overcome challenges and build lives rooted in meaning and values.
